Marazzi is the ceramic tile industry's best known brand. Present in more than 140 countries, it is universally recognised as synonymous with quality ceramic tiles, and symbolises the best of Italian style and manufacturing in the interior decoration and design sector. Marazzi was founded in 1935 at Sassuolo, Italy, in what was to become the top international hub for the creation of state-of-the-art, high-end ceramic tiles, which has grown together with the company over the decades.
Without the people who live in, homes, buildings and towns are nothing but empty spaces. Aware of this, for more than eighty years Marazzi has designed and produced ceramic surfaces where pragmatism meets beauty, innovation completes tradition, and technology is shaped to human needs.
Marazzi’s exclusive technologies, high standardsand reliability are matched with style, taste, a passion for ceramics and a love of beauty. Because when design ends emotion always begins.
Its constant commitment to the research and development of innovative style, product and process solutions has helped to achieve a technological leadership that makes Marazzi a benchmark on the world ceramic tile manufacturing scene.
Today, Marazzi has state-of-the-art manufacturing plants and new technologies, as well as dozens of technological patents, that enable it to produce the best ceramic and stoneware products for both the home and the contract sector.
As long ago as 1994, Marazzi was the frst company in the sector to obtain certifcation of its quality system under the ISO 9001 standard, later followed by ISO 14001 certifcation of its environmental management system. Marazzi has helped to make the manufacture of ceramic coverings a closed-cycle production operation, limiting consumption of natural resources and reducing environmental impact, thanks to the optimisation of energy use, controlled waste management, the recycling of industrial wastewater, and quarry remediation in line with the most severe environmental regulations.
