    Maintenance

Acid reacts with calcite and therefore stains can appear easily. We recommend to be careful with your marble worktops and wipe off any spills as soon as possible. You should also be careful with sharp objects that can leave scratches on the surface.Warm water and a splash of mild detergent is recommended to clean your marble worktops. Still, specialized stone care products will make the cleaning easier and could increase the shine. Sealing is recommended and will help the worktops to stain less, but there are no care products available in the market that will completely protect the marble worktops.

Life´s inevitable spills and stains should be cleaned as quick as possible to avoid your worktops from staining.

Avoid the use of highly aggressive cleaning agents such as oven/grill cleaners and dishwasher polishing agents that have high alkaline/pH levels (pH 8.5 or higher). Products containing oils or powders may leave a residue and should be rinsed off thoroughly.

Should your surface accidenttaly be exposed to any of these damaging products, rinse immediately with clean water to neutralize the effect.

    Temperature Control

Marble is heat resistant. Still a pad or trivet placed between worktop and hot object is recommended.
